Your vaccine appointment

• General information

  At FACE Low-Cost Animal Clinic, we recognize that access to basic veterinary care is critical for keeping pets healthy, with their people, and out of area shelters. Anyone can use our services. FACE offers low-cost vaccines for pets that protect them from preventable diseases. 

  Vaccine visits include a basic assessment, vaccinations, and parasite prevention/control recommendations. We can also give heartworm tests and/or FIV/FeLV tests at this time.

  Because your time is valuable, all visits are by appointment only. Just as in human healthcare, we make every effort to be on time for your appointment, and we appreciate your patience if we are running behind. You can expect your visit to our clinic to take approximately 45 minutes, but please understand the appointment may take longer. Make your appointment through this link.

• Rabies vaccine requirement

  All patients are required to be up-to-date on the rabies vaccine. Please submit proof in the form of a valid rabies certificate or patient history from your primary veterinary provider. The history must state the date the vaccine was given and the name of the veterinarian that administered the vaccine. Unfortunately, vaccine reminders will not be accepted as valid proof of vaccination. Proof of rabies vaccination must be received at least one business day before surgery. Medical records can be forwarded to “records@faceanimalclinic” or you can text a photo of the records to (317) 680-1055.
  If your pet received the rabies vaccine at FACE, we can provide the information you need on the morning of surgery. If your pet is not up-to-date, you will be required to purchase the rabies vaccine, which will be given at the time of surgery.

• Payment

  We believe animals enrich our lives and all people deserve the opportunity to experience that joy. We also recognize that veterinary costs can be high. Our goal is to help keep pets with the people who love them. With the support of our generous donors, we may be able to provide financial assistance for vaccines for pets. As you fill out the online appointment request, please explain your situation in the notes section at the end. Our staff will contact you with options. You can also email us with your request. 

  We require a $20 non-refundable deposit for all vaccine appointments, payable when you schedule the appointment. You may reschedule 48 hours before your appointment with no additional deposit or penalty. Your deposit will be applied to your service fees the day of your appointment. The remainder of your payment is due during check-out on the day of your appointment. We accept cash, credit, or debit cards. We do not accept Care Credit. No personal checks, please. If you give us less than 48 hours notice before you cancel or reschedule, you will lose your deposit. You will have to provide another $20 deposit to schedule a new appointment. We will convert your lost deposit to a donation to the organization.

• What to expect when you arrive

  When you arrive for your appointment, you do not need to text the number on our parking space signs. You may enter our lobby and check-in at the front desk. 

  You can expect your visit to our vaccine clinic to take approximately 45 minutes, but please understand the appointment may take longer.

  If you need to borrow a muzzle please let us know. Dogs must be on a secure and non-retractable leash, and cats must be in a secure carrier. 

• Walk-in Appointments

  We are now offering walk-in appointments on Tuesdays only. From 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. you may simply walk in to our clinic and receive our vaccine services without scheduling online.

  Please note that appointments scheduled online take precedence over walk-ins. Walk-ins will be slotted on a first come, first serve basis and we reserve the right to stop taking walk-in appointments when our capacity is filled.
